REFLECT AND PRACTICE
Read: For those using the book, Soul Feast, read chapter 7: “Of Conscious and Consciousness: Self Examination, Confession and Awareness”, pp. 95-112.
Reflection: Reflect on the two basic truths that we need to know to engage in self-examination as a healthy spiritual discipline, namely, (1) God loves us, and (2) we are wounded before God, in need of healing. Reflect on this musical video reflection, called “Grace Enough” [click HERE for audio].
Practice: Make a regular self-examination (or “check in”) by using the Ignatian method or examen.
