REFLECT AND PRACTICE
Read: For those using the book, read Chapter 3: “Communication and Communion with God: Approaches to Prayer,” Soul Feast pp. 31-52.
Reflection: How would you define prayer? What is most central about your understanding and practice of prayer? How do you communicate and relate to God? Have you ever considered prayer as a form of communion, of deeper intimacy with God? Can you trust that God enjoys your company?
Practice: Building on the practice from session one, spend ten minutes in the morning and/or evening in prayer in solitude and silence; or begin a new prayer practice that you have discovered.
