Meet your chairs!

Gia Minh

Head Chair

My name is Gia Minh, I’m currently a junior in Concordia International School Hanoi and I will be serving as the Head chair for this year’s SEASAC MUN Human Rights Commissions. This is my fourth year in the MUN community and this upcoming conference in February will mark my 10th Model United Nations Conference, and my 5th time as a chair. Aside from MUN, I enjoy reading thrillers and cooking. I’m hoping to see fruitful and active debate around 2 pressing issues that concern millions.

Phoenix

Deputy Chair

Hello, my name is Qingwen, and my English name is Phoenix. I am a junior at Ruamrudee International School (RIS) in Bangkok, Thailand, and have two years of MUN experience. I am pleased to serve as the HRC deputy chair at the 2023 SEASAC MUN.  I am looking forward to meeting our excellent delegates and their creative solutions to the issues that HRC confronts, and I aim to provide a comfortable and ideal conference for everybody.

Mikel

Procedural Chair

Hey there! My name's Mikel, and I'm a sophomore at SSIS. I'm a huge foodie and a passionate debater striving to improve my skills in diplomacy. Although this is my second year participating in MUN, I've learned a lot from working and debating with delegates at the conferences I've attended.

I look forward to meeting you and acting as your procedural chair at this year's SEASAC conference!
