Spanish 1B continues in year two with more advanced grammatical structures and expanded vocabulary sets. Students will continue to build off of the concepts mastered in Spanish 1A. Themes in Spanish 1B cover family relationships, friends and celebrations, the home and chores, clothing and shopping, vacations, volunteer work and environmental protection.
Prerequisite: Must have successfully completed Español 1A with a B average.
Due to the caliber of work expected, it is recommended that students elect Spanish if they are able to maintain a B average in their required academic classes (English, History, Math, and Science).
