Please make an appointment with a school counsellor if you have any questions regarding course selection for the 2026-2027 academic year
Modified courses are available in each core subject area: English, History, Science and Math.
Students in Grade 10-12 may be provided the option to take a modified course. These courses are indicated with a 11, 21 or 31 course level code.
Decisions about making a level-change require evidence, which may include:
standardized assessments
teacher observations and recommendations
prior interventions
Placement in modified course is made only in consultation with the student and caregivers, as there may be an impact on post-secondary options available to students with modified credits. A course-level change form is required.
