Welcome Kindergarten
One of the most important skills your child will begin to develop in kindergarten is learning to read. Below are some fun activities to do with your child to nurture that love of reading. Don't forget to check out the Practice at Home tab to access some fun early literacy activities and digital sight word flash cards. Click the Reading Games tab to visit some great websites with fun reading games for your child. When in doubt just pick up a fun book read, read, read to and with your child. Happy reading!

If you have a coffee filter and clothes pin you can make your very own Butterfly at home. Color the coffee filter with markers, spray it with water to blend the colors, and fold. Take a look at my daughter's butterfly we made.
