Summer 2023 Edition
Teachers, WE'VE GOT A LOT TO CELEBRATE!
Shout out to Stephanie Walton at Wilchester Elementary School who created and organized this outstanding collaboration between art and literacy as we celebrated Big Art Day and Youth Art Month. This project demonstrates the Collaborative Spirit of the Visual Arts Department in SBISD. We cannot wait to see what next Spring brings for the Art and Literacy Trail!
Thank you, TEACHERS, for all your dedication and help in making Create Fest a success. The Art Department pushed the Limitless Curiosity of our students to participate and compete in this exciting event. The art educators in SBISD truly embody the Collective Greatness of our department. We simply couldn’t do it without your support. It's great events like Create Fest that exemplify SBISD's commitment to the success and opportunity for Every Child. Shout out to Sally Doyle (Create Fest Founder) and the 2023 Create Fest Committee for dedicating their time and creativity to lead this event to success.
The 2022-2023 school year brought about exciting new connections between feeder pattern campuses in SBISD. Elementary, Middle, and High School art educators facilitated creative projects that pushed students' Collaborative Spirit and Limitless Curiosity. We are excited to see how these projects exapand and grow in the coming school year.
Shout out to Spring Woods High School and all of its feeder schools for these spectacular monster projects!
