Controls for a the same game on different platforms (Xbox vs PC) will vary on the name of buttons for the same kinds of controls (i.e. directional pad-xbox-, arrow keys-PC-, cross keys/joysticks-Playstation- all for movement).
Controls for different games even on the same platform may vary too (i.e. arrow keys or wasd may be used for movement in games, control or shift may be used for simple actions, etc.

Use the tutorial provided by the game, this may appear when you first boot up the game.
Find how to play/game controls in your the game's settings/menu, just boot up your game & look for settings/options/gear icon on the home page.
Open up your internet browser & type into the search bar at the top things like: how to play [game name here], game controls for [game name here], [game name here] controls wiki,/wikihow etc.
PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE! The only way to get better handle on controls, gain muscle memory (your ability to remember how to move your fingers and do an action), & play seamlessly is to keep practicing.
Failure is a great teacher! Use your mistakes to learn what not to do next time and how to read a games story and cues better.
Watch playthroughs & walkthroughs on youtube/twitch (e.g. how to play minecraft & Bryan Dechart voice of Connor in Detroit Becomes Humans first playthrough of Detroit: Become Human) or read up on key game terms & gameplay controls via the game's wiki (e.g. Minecraft Wiki & Madden NFL 20 wiki guide).
One of the main points to games are strategy. A lot of the biggest challenges require a bit of creativity or extra thinking. Games encourage us to think out of the box! So if something isn't working, make a different strategy!
