They host livestreams several times a week of both gaming playthroughs and learning/chill sessions called Curiosity Chill Tuesdays! (Disclaimer: they are both adults & sometimes swear).
SydneeatIGN: a host from the daily game review site IGN, she hosts on the daily fix where she gives news and announcements on upcoming video games! (disclaimer:she an adult and sometimes swear but she tries to keep it family friendly.)
TrishaHershberger: a former host for buzzfeed, she makes her own content & live streams a lot of PC games that are geared towards teens. She has this game show on twitch called the twitch gong show where you can vote on which game she will play (Disclaimer: Some of her content is mature but she is a positive role model on how young people can get into streaming.)

What is it?
Form of sport competition using video games; can range from amateur, individual vs individual, online multiplayer to national/international MLGs (Major League Gaming) teams competing in person (wikipedia).
How do I get involved?
Competition:
ESL Gaming (see left image above): the world’s largest eSports company leading the industry across the most popular video games with numerous online and offline competitions.
Apply for the XO Academy program: an intensive 4 week training program designed to help elevate the game and the name of passionate women competitors in the FGC.
Tips/tricks:
Start by building up your skills in a game/games you like, practice against friends & AI until you feel confident & have the combos/gameplay down.
Watch other eSports players & competitions to learn how to get better: such as MLG competions, AnyKey affiliate players like Christine "Potter" Chi (see middle image above), & or local teams like Minnesota Rokkr Call of Duty team!
Start competing with local, low cost, online, &/or amateur competitions (see ESL's website to get started)
Commentating/Hosting competitions
Host streams of you watching & commentating live on gamers, esports competitions, or gameplay on twitch/youtube using: twitch's broadcast studio (only for twitch or OBS studio free for Windows, Mac, & Linux & video editing software Filmora9
Once you have experience/education (ex: degree in journalism & commentating), apply to companies and organizations hosting eSports tournaments.
Tips/tricks:
Research all you can about the player(s), team(s), & competitions (skills, history, styles of gaming, awards, those involved, etc.) you are commentating on before your hosting/commentating sessions.
