Welcome to the Faraday Child Care Community! π
We are excited to begin a new month at Faraday Splash Childcare and look forward to welcoming all of our children and families as we begin a wonderful new school year together. As our Nursery, Kindergarten, and School-Age children settle into their programs, we are excited to create a year filled with play, learning, friendship, exploration, and beautiful memories.
Our educators are committed to providing a safe, caring, and engaging environment where every child feels welcomed, valued, respected, and supported. We believe that children learn best through play, exploration, positive relationships, and meaningful interactions. Each day brings new opportunities for children to build confidence, develop independence, discover their interests, and learn at their own pace.

Faraday Splash Child Care officially opened on August 24, 2026, and our School-Age program began on August 25, 2026.
We were excited to officially welcome our Nursery and Kindergarten children who startedΒ Monday, September 14, 2026. We are looking forward to getting to know all of our new children and helping them feel happy, comfortable, and welcome in our Splash community.
As we continue growing and settling into our new environment, our children are building new friendships, exploring their surroundings, and developing a sense of belonging. We are so happy to have our families join us on this exciting journey and look forward to growing, learning, and celebrating together throughout the year.

At Faraday Splash Child Care, we encourage children to learn through play, creativity, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Our programs offer a variety of opportunities for children to enjoy their day, develop new skills, and build positive relationships with educators and friends.

Our dedicated educators provide opportunities for children to express themselves, ask questions, try new things, and develop a love for learning. We believe every child is unique, and we strive to support each child's growth, interests, and individual learning journey.

As we welcome the beautiful fall season, our educators and children are excited to explore the many wonderful learning opportunities that autumn brings. The changing colours of the leaves, cooler temperatures, and signs of nature changing provide meaningful opportunities for children to connect with the outdoors and discover the world around them.
This fall, we look forward to exploring the season through a variety of fun and engaging activities, including:
π Seasonal art and crafts inspired by fall colours and nature.
πΏ Nature walks and outdoor exploration.
π Collecting and observing leaves, exploring different textures, shapes, and colours.
𧑠Sensory experiences inspired by the sights, sounds, and feelings of autumn.
π Fall-themed stories, songs, and music.
π¨ Creative and hands-on activities that encourage imagination and curiosity.
π³ Opportunities to notice changes in plants, trees, and the environment.
Through these experiences, children will have opportunities to learn about the changing seasons, express their creativity, and develop an appreciation for nature. We are excited to make the most of the beautiful fall season and create lots of fun memories together!

Getting Ready for Fall Weather
As the weather becomes cooler, please make sure your child has appropriate clothing for outdoor play each day. We spend time outside whenever the weather permits, and having the right clothing helps children stay comfortable, warm, and ready to enjoy their outdoor adventures.
Please send your child with:
π§’ A hat or toque for cooler mornings.
π§₯ A jacket or light sweater suitable for fall weather.
π Comfortable outdoor shoes that are safe for running and playing.
π Extra clothes in case they get wet or dirty.
𧦠Extra socks for changing when needed.
As the temperature continues to change, we kindly ask families to check their child's extra clothing regularly and replace items as they become too small or as the weather changes.
