Palm Sunday - 29th March  

Normal Sunday Mass times 

We celebrate Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem and commemorate His Passion. 

‘Spy’ Wednesday of Holy Week - 1st April

‘Holy Half Hour’ - 10am, St Wilfrid’s Church, Burgess Hill - Children's Service

a chance to come and adore Jesus, with music and songs led by our Mothers’ Group

Chrism Mass - 6pm, Arundel Cathedral 

The festal Mass in which the oils of catechumens, the sick, and Chrism will be blessed, 

and priests renew the promises of their ordination. 

Holy Thursday - 2nd April 

Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 8pm, St Wilfrid’s, Burgess Hill

We commemorate the institution of the Eucharist and of the priesthood, and the great commandment of love. There will be watching at the Altar of Repose, keeping company with Our Lord during His Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, after Mass until 11pm (concluding with Compline, the Church’s Night Prayer, at 10.45pm).  

Good Friday - 3rd April

Children’s Stations of the Cross, 10.30am, St Wilfrid’s Burgess Hill

3pm - Solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion St Wilfrid’s, Burgess Hill 

3pm - Solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion St Paul's

We commemorate Our Lord’s suffering and death, which He underwent in love to redeem the world.  

Holy Saturday - 4th April  

Easter Vigil - 8.30pm at St Paul's

The Church today waits in quiet expectation, until the great celebration of Christ’s Resurrection from the Dead. 

Easter Sunday - 5th April  

(Additional Mass) 9:30 at St Edward’s, Keymer.  

All other Masses at usual Sunday times, but no 5.30pm Mass at St Paul’s
