I studied law at university, and discovered Christianity while I was there, and was baptised in the Church of England at the end of my first year. I began exploring what God was calling him to do in my life and so, after graduation, spent some time in parishes in London. There I discovered that alongside the intellectual and aesthetic appeal of the Christian life, there was an incredible joy of putting unconditional love into action. I went to Anglican Theological College to pursue training to become a vicar, but during that time I increasingly felt the pull of the Catholic Church, which is Christ’s Body on earth and is truly universal. After being received into the Church I continued to explore God’s call to priesthood, in a parish and then in seminary. My formation was at the English College in Valladolid, St John’s Wonersh, and then Allen Hall in London. I was ordained priest by Bishop Richard in July 2025 and was appointed assistant priest in this parish. I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, eating, art, theatre and opera, and rarely find enough time for all of them.
