RTI District Committee
Purpose
The purpose of the RTI District Committee is to advise the school district of the educational needs of all learners. The committee members serve as advocates who are committed to ensuring that the district program and policies meet the needs of all learners.
Functions of the RTI District Committee Include:
Annual review of the Response to Intervention Manual
Develop annual goals and priorities for the Instructional Intervention Program
Share information with stakeholders
Review data and provide feedback on the interventions and supports
Serve as the appeal board
Membership
The RTI District Committee consists of the Assistant Superintendent, K-8 Building Administrators, Content Supervisors, Director of Student Support Services, K-8 Guidance Counselors, Response to Intervention Coordinator, Special Services, General Education Teachers, Special Education Teachers, and Instructional Intervention Teachers. **One spot will be reserved for the acting PTO President to serve as an ad hoc parent member.
