Program and Policy Review

Our district Response to Intervention Committee will meet annually to review the Sparta Township Public Schools District Policy, Instructional Intervention Program, and the components of the district’s referral and implementation process.

The building-level Student Support Services Teams will meet monthly (at minimum) to review student data and evaluate the effectiveness of core instruction and interventions for individual and groups of students.

The Student Support Services Department will meet with the school building team facilitators at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year to assess the needs, develop action steps, and monitor fidelity of implementation across the district.

At the end of each school year, the Student Support Services Department will provide a K-8 District RTI/I&RS Needs Assessment Survey to all staff to capture feedback about the implementation practices in each building. The data and findings from the survey will be captured in the SSS Building Facilitators End of the Year Report and shared with stakeholders.

The data from the needs assessment will identify implementation strengths, target areas in need of improvement, and assist the team with planning for the upcoming school year.
