Dual Enrollment
The Southern Tioga School District provides an opportunity for dual enrollment with Mansfield University. Students can earn high school and college credit for courses taken at Mansfield University.
Eligibility to apply
Sophomore through senior year
Southern Tioga School District GPA of 3.0
Upper 50% of the class
Satisfactory scores on PSAT, SAT, or ACT
Advanced or Proficient on Keystone exams
Satisfactory score on MU placement exam
Eligibility while in the program
Maintain a 3.0 GPA in the STSD school
Maintain a 2.0 GPA in the dual enrollment course
Adhere to all STSD, School, and MU policies

Estimated MU costs: 3 credits (announced each July)

Credit
Students may earn up to 12 credits per year. To be awarded credit, student must earn a 2.0 GPA in the dual enrollment course.

Students participating in the dual enrollment program take on added responsibilities for their attendance to school at NPLHS. When students approved for the dual enrollment program are not taking classes during NPLHS school hours, they may be required to be in school at NPLHS. Sign-in and sign-out procedures will be established and must be followed. A violation of attendance policies to school at NPLHS while enrolled in the dual enrollment program will result in corrective action.
