‘Tis fine to see the colleges
And high schools of renown,
But there is one that I love best
In a little rural town.
She is my alma mater,
A school like all the rest.
Although there’re many larger ones,
To me she is the best.
Oh it’s Liberty, fair Liberty,
My alma mater dear.
My heart is loyal to you,
Your praise I love to hear.
In the land of opportunity,
Where God’s great love doth shine,
I’m thankful for my blessings
And that Liberty is mine.
