WHAT WE DO
Project SOAR places trained Education Navigators on public housing sites to deliver high-quality, one-on-one, college and career advising to residents. There are no GPA requirements, attendance stipulations, or limitations on age range for participation in Project SOAR. Any HACLA resident with postsecondary goals or questions can drop-in to Project SOAR, with or without an appointment, and connect with an Education Navigator.
SOAR offers programs and services year-round at seven HACLA housing sites across Los Angeles. If you do not live in one of the seven housing sites where we are physically located, we also offer virtual support to residents from any HACLA housing site and are happy to set up a phone or video-call appointment with you.
