Project SOAR's Ambassador Program was established in 2021 to deepen the presence of Project SOAR across HACLA's public housing communities.
In 2025, SOAR placed 15 Parent Ambassadors across 8 HACLA public housing communities for a 4-week, paid ambassadorship. With their support, we were able to connect directly with residents and canvass over 3,000 HACLA residential units to share Project SOAR with over 5,000 residents!
What SOAR Parent Ambassadors Do:
Contribute to Project SOAR’s recruitment efforts by promoting the program through canvassing with the SOAR team, engaging with residents, and participating in community events at their housing community.
Collaborate with Project SOAR Education Navigators to identify community needs and future programming opportunities.
