A new version of this site was created, following the June 24 Bylaws update. This is now the ARCHIVED site.
Before submission, take the following steps:
Click the "Preview" mode above (the "Laptop" icon) to review the site as your evaluators will see it. Make any remaining corrections, test links to ensure all materials are in place. Click "x" in bottom box to return to editing version of site.
Click "PUBLISH" above to save all changes. Keep in mind you can repeat the "PUBLISH" step as many times as you need to save changes -- it's not a scary, "don't do this until the very end!" kind of thing.
Add your department chair via the "Share with Others" button above. When the box comes up, add your chair's email in the '"Invite People" box, and select the drop-down option for "PUBLISHED VIEWER."
Double-check to be sure you've added Mai Savelle through the "Share with Others" button above so she's able to upload evaluators' letters to your site. When the box comes up, add Mai's email (mlsavelle) in the '"Invite People" box, and select the drop-down option for "EDITOR." At the bottom, DE-SELECT the checkbox that reads, "Prevent editors from publishing, changing access and adding new people."
BEGIN THE EVALUATION PROCESS BY EMAILING YOUR CHAIR WITH THE URL OF THE OUTWARD-FACING, PUBLIC URL OF YOUR GOOGLE SITE; COPY IN MAI SAVELLE. To access the official URL of your site (as opposed to the version that allows you to edit your site), click the dropdown arrow next to the purple "PUBLISH" button and select "View Published Site." This is the URL to copy and share should you wish to allow viewing permissions for anyone else at the College.
Once you've successfully notified your chair and Mai that your file is complete and available for viewing, your work is done. It's your chair's responsibility to circulate the URL to the members of your Program Evaluation Committee.
*** IMPORTANT: Note that you must not modify the content of your Google Site in any way after you've officially submitted your file for review, or after the due date of your file (whichever comes first). *** While it's tempting to go back and correct typos or revise wording later on in the process, the evaluation process insists that each set of evaluators be presented with identical materials.
Congratulations! Go reward yourself with a long nap.
