A new version of this site was created, following the June 24 Bylaws update. This is now the ARCHIVED site.
Use this page to give the evaluating committees the clearest understanding of your approach to teaching. Include a strategic selection of classroom materials, assignments, and syllabi to demonstrate the range of courses taught (both lower and upper level, topics and CDSA courses, etc.) and pedagogical innovation. Be mindful to build a small but effective portfolio, while avoiding repetitive materials. The three-dot menu at the right end of the "Pages" menu allows for the creation of subpages; you may find it useful to organize your course materials by course level (intro materials, upper-level materials) or by syllabi linked to corresponding class assignments.
You may wish to collect teaching materials in any number of ways; in addition to Drive folders of syllabi or Docs of assignment sheets, the "Insert" menu at right will permit the inclusion of such multimedia as Google Slides (converted from PPT), JPGs or short YouTube clips of classroom activities.
These materials should address the librarian’s core area(s) of responsibility, and may include subject guides, special projects or statistical reports, instructional materials, loader specifications, web project screen shots, finding aides, etc.
