Please ask your parents where you can try this and clear a space for safety! When you are done be sure to clean everything up! Don't forget to say or do something kind to or for someone every day!!

You all sing this song every time it comes on, so let's put some movement to it! Grab something (sticks, pencils, spoons, paper towel rolls, stuffed animals) or nothing and follow along with this warm-up! Do your best and if you get off track (I do too) just jump in where you are or create your own moves!
Have fun then head down and try to "Beat the Teach" at the games below!!
Try these activities to increase your hand-eye coordination! Use any type of smaller ball or object you have (ball, socks, stuffed animal, a crumbled paper, or aluminum foil) to try each skill.
I will explain the skill then there is a place to pause and practice for as long as you need!
Try to keep your object up in the air by striking it upwards with an open hand. Use anything you have--a balloon or blown up zip-lock bag work great or a sock ball, paper ball, or any other type of lightweight ball is great! Try to keep your object bopping in the air as many times as you can.
What's your highest in a row??
Open-hand Striking Skill Review
Check this for a quick review!
Use any type of ball, stuffed animal, socks, empty milk jug for these activities!
Force Game
Strike (hit with your hand) an object with the correct force (how hard you hit) and try to land it on a target (towel or t-shirt).
Beat the Teach:
I got 4 in 30 seconds!
Accuracy Game
Strike (hit with your hand) an object for accuracy (hit a target).
Beat the Teach:
I got 4 in 30 seconds (but I see 1 was a rebound off something so 3).
Rebound Game
Try to keep the ball in motion by rebounding (hitting off of) 2 flat objects.
Use any type of ball and 2 things for targets (couch, wall, laundry baskets, etc).
Beat the Teach:
I got in a really good rhythm and got 28!!
No time limit, just see how many you can hit in a row before the ball stops or gets away from you!
