UC BERKELEY Early Academic
Outreach Program (EAOP)

All San Leandro scholars are invited to apply to the Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) cohort program! EAOP is committed to closing the opportunity gap and increasing access to higher education for underserved students, families, and communities. EAOP has a rich legacy of motivated students who have participated in the program and successfully gone onto college. Eligibility requirements include being low-income, first generation, and/or underrepresented student, with a GPA of 2.0 and above.

If accepted, scholars will become part of a cohort of 150 students that participate in this program at San Leandro HS and have the opportunity to receive the following free services during school hours via the EAOP College Adviser. Although admission to the program is not guaranteed for every applicant, we encourage all eligible students to apply.
