Seniors! Going to college in the fall of 2025? Now you’ve got a little more time to apply for financial aid. The state priority deadline in California was extended to April 2, 2025.
Don’t miss out on grants and scholarships! Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) today.
Parents/Guardians: once your student completes the student section of FAFSA or CADAA, you should receive an email invitation to complete the parent section. Please complete this section by April 2nd for your student's application to be considered complete!

The state of California now requires all high school seniors to complete a financial aid application or complete an opt-out form.
Completing a financial aid application is helpful for students who are interested in enrolling in any post-secondary program. For students who do not plan to complete a financial aid application, an opt-out form must be completed and emailed to vgalaviz@slusd.us.
