Articulated Courses are courses offered at the high school that are equivalent to a specific Community College course. The student can earn articulated credit if the student applies for that college after high school graduation. Upon course completion, the student receives high school credit only and then will receive that credit on college transcript once enrolled in that post-secondary school.

Teachers of record of the high school course and the college course must renew their articulated course with each specific college annually or bi-annually depending on the college’s requirements.

1. Create an account in Open CCC or sign in with an existing account using usernames and password

2. Use a personal email

3. Start a New Application for Chabot College Fall 2024

Use the following answers to some of the application questions: 

Term: Fall 2024

Educational Goal: Obtain an associate degree and transfer to a 4-year institution

Intended Major: Humanities (AA) Chabot  

Enrollment Status:  Enrolling in high school (or lower grade) and college at the same time

College Education: No degree 

Credit By /Articulation Exam:  Yes       

Planned Enrollment: Part-Time 0-5 

4. Have a teacher or adult review your application before you submit it.

5. Once it has been reviewed, hit consent and submit and Sign Out of the website

6. Move forward with one of the following:

Retrieve your W# from an email from Chabot College Admissions!                                                                                            

1. Go to  WWW.CATEMA.COM

2. Under " CATEMA™ System - Site Login Directory", scroll down and click on "Chabot College-Hayward, CA"

3.  Click New Student Account at the top of the screen - unless you have an existing account 

4. Create a New Student Account 

5. Fill in the information asked

6. Enter your W# where it asks for Chabot ID

7. Under Program, select “no program-related”

8. Enter your high school (San Leandro) and the year that you will graduate: 

• •  9th -  2028

  • 10th - 2027

  • 11th - 2026

  • 12th - 2025

9. Click Next, review, and confirm all information is correct - Click continue

10. Select teacher name who teachers your articulated class   

11. Course title (refer to the top of this page for course titles)

12. Select the semester you are taking the course.  

• • There are only two semesters at SLHS 

13. Click Submit  = you should see your name appear at the bottom that says pending
