26th Iambic Pentameter Awards

The 26th Iambic Pentameter Awards ceremony and banquet, presented by the Iambic Pentameter Club of San Luis Obispo High School (SLOHSIP), honored the organization's best student theatrical performances between August 24, 2020, and June 7, 2021. It took place in Edna, California, on May 15, 2021, twelve months later than originally planned, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the SLOHS Drama Club. During the ceremony, satirical Director's Awards were presented in fifteen non-competitive categories, followed by audience's choice awards in four competitive categories. Director and actor Ian McKay hosted the ceremony for the first time.

The nominations, which were primarily drawn from the 2020–2021 season production, were announced on April 5, 2021. Flannery Clausen led in nominations, while Penny DellaPelle received the most awards; Linnaea Marks and Mark Rourke were respectively named Best Actress and Best Actor.

In related events, the Drama Club held its annual Drama Banquet on May 20, 2021. Additionally, SLOHS ASB held its annual film festival awards ceremony, including an audience award for achievement in acting, at the San Luis Obispo High School Theatre on April 16, 2021. Four actors from the 2021 Iambic Pentameter production – Marks, Rourke, Lindsay Smith, and Sophia Lea – presented awards.
