Welcome to Computing Science at St Andrew's and St Bride's High School!
Our courses from S1 to S6 aim to build digital skills, working with a range of different hardware and software in order to prepare all pupils for a future in an ever changing digital world.
From understanding Computer Systems and Software Development to developing databases and websites, we take a look at the fundamental areas of Computing Science and allow pupils to specialise in Games Development, Cyber Security, Data Science and PC Passport.
"Everyone should know how to program a computer, because it teaches you how to think!"
- Steve Jobs
Pupils working from home
All pupils use Google Classroom in school to access their notes and class tasks. These can also be accessed at home.
Homework can be accessed and completed via Google Classroom at home too.
News and Celebrating Success
Each month we award pupils across S1-S3 with a Digital Excellence Awards and we take part in as many competitions as possible.
