An understanding of computing enables pupils to make informed choices in our digital world
Throughout S1 and S2, pupils are timetabled for one period a week in the Computing Science Department. They follow a course that covers both Digital Literacy and Computing Science content. These courses have been carefully designed to build pupils digital skills and give them an indication of the nature of the National 4 and 5 Computing Science courses.
At the end of S2, pupils make course choices and can elect to study Computing Science in S3.
