In this interdisciplinary workshop between Visual Art and IMP, Year 1 students were tasked to design an ASEAN-inspired motif using AI applications like Meta AI and Chat GPT.
In the first part, they researched the ASEAN countries and the types of floral motifs unique to the countries. They explored the different types of motifs created by creating simple but precise prompts.
In the second part of the workshop, students learnt to create a simple elephant phone holder with the created ASEAM motifs. They used Maker World and Tinkercad to complete the task.

In this interdisciplinary workshop between Visual Art and IMP, Year 2 students were introduced to the history of Batik. They learnt to create their batik designs and using laser printing techniques to create the final artwork.
Students learnt to apply the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create, digitalise, and print their personalised batik-inspired motifs on keychains in the form of a pizza slice. Each slice will reflect a singular batik motif, 4 slices can be brought together like a pizza, to reflect a larger batik motif which represents different slices of Asean.
