Measurement concepts

Students will need to make estimates of the length of a real object (is it 3 feet or 3 inches?).

Students will use a ruler to measure an image.

Students will compare lengths and determine how much longer or shorter and item is.

Students will add and subtract lengths using a line diagram.

Students will solve word problems involving adding and subtracting lengths.
