  • Pencil(s), simple wood pencils preferred & felt-tip fine liner Pen(s)

  • SketchUp (also free)

  • Sculptris (you guessed it, free)

Course Outline:

Unit 1: Sketch & Draw

Assignment 1: 3D Name Challenge

Unit 2: Art Metal

Assignment 2: Key Chain with a Personal Locket (in-class demo)

Unit 3: Character Design

Assignment 3:

part 1. Design a character and draw/present the character using front view, back view, side view and 3/4 view. Final copy needs to be fine-line and coloured.

part 2. Repeat and mimic a Sculptris tutorial.

part 3. Create the character you designed in Sculptris for 3D printing.
