About the Teacher

Jiwan Goyal - Teacher

Jiwan has been practicing yoga for the past 40 years. He has trained at the world's oldest (102 years) organized institute of yoga, The Yoga Institute, Santacruz, Mumbai, India. He is currently the Director of ICYT. Academically Jiwan received a B.S. in Food Science from U.C., Davis, USA and an M.Sc. Food Science from the University of Guelph, Canada.

Jiwan is a highly experienced teacher, who has been through many life experiences since an early age and has been immersed deep in the art, science and the know-how of Classical Yoga for the past 40 years.

His teaching experience consists of more than 30,000 hours - Teachers Training Certificate courses (200, 300 & 500) hours, besides helping many with the management of stress, anxiety, depression, arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, backache, migraines, anger, insomnia, asthma, sinusitis and allergies through Yoga special classes and Health Camps.
