I am a licensed counseling psychologist (License No. 1772) practicing in Taipei, Taiwan. I have been offering guidance and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families for 30 years. Currently, I am working as an independent practitioner at Yueher Emilie Ma, PhD. Also, I am working as a contract psychologist affiliated with United Psychological Services, Modern Health and Lyra Health International, providing bilingual counseling services. Previously, I provided professional counseling services at such agencies as Taipei Community Services Center (20013-2024), Reangel Clinics/ReAnKos Counseling Center, Taipei, Taiwan (2009-2013), Student Counselling Services, University of British Columbia, Canada (2008-09); Student Counseling Center, University of Maryland (UMD), USA (2004-08); UMD Student Health Center (2005-06); Guidance Department, Bloomington North High School and Jackson Creek Middle School, USA (2002-03); Juvenile Alternative Management Sessions, USA (2001-02).

TRANSLATION-RELATED EXPERIENCE

I had experience working as a part-time written/oral interpreter. Having studied, lived and worked in USA and Canada for 8 years, I have a great command of the English language. I received a band score of 9 for both the listening and speaking modules according to IELTS (last exam taken in Oct, 2010). 

PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT

I served as committee member in the International Affairs Section of Taiwan Counseling Psychologist Union (TCPU) and in the International Affairs-Multiculturalism Section of Taiwan Counseling Psychology Association (TWCPA).

經歷

• 《心理治療》提供輔導/諮商 (guidance/counseling) 與深度心理治療 (psychotherapy) 服務30年，實務經歷包括：青少年心理輔導；成人心理衡鑑、個別諮商、伴侶諮商、團體諮商、家族諮商、職涯諮商、心理測驗與解說、危機/高關懷個案處理、心理諮詢、心理衛生教育推廣活動及工作坊、諮商督導。現任馬月娥博士個人工作室 (Yueher Emilie Ma, PhD) 心理師，聯合心理諮商所 (United Psychological Services) 兼任心理師，Modern Health 與 Lyra Health International 特約心理師，提供中英雙語諮商服務。曾於台北國際社區服務中心 (Taipei Community Services Center) 擔任兼任心理師，以及杏語心靈診所，擔任兼任心理師；於加拿大卑詩大學 (University of British Columbia, UBC) 學生心理諮商中心，美國馬里蘭大學 學生心理諮商中心、學生健康中心擔任心理治療師；於美國印第安納州兩所中學、青少年替代管理方案擔任諮商員；於新北市海山高中與中平國中擔任導師與認輔教師。

• 《翻譯》曾兼任中/英筆/口譯員，曾於台灣的國際會議中提供同步與逐步口譯的服務，可提供全英語與中英雙語專業諮商。在美加讀書與工作八年的生活經驗，讓我英文語用能力更為純熟。返台後，最後一次 (2010年) 雅思語文測驗聽與說的部分皆達滿分9級分。
