I was looking for a pullout bin that followed the door. I did some research and found the Hailo Solo 20H (400mm).
At the time it seemed like the only suitable option, as I didn't want to mount it on the door (since that can cause it to sag).
Unfortunately, I installed it as per the instructions but got some catastrophic results where the included following mechanism would pop out. In the reviews from Amazon below, I had multiple problems
mechanism would bind at roughbly 45-60 degrees (door hitting frame)
two bits of plastic would "invert" then "snap" off
In the video review where it shows the mechanism working, it looks like the bin is closer to the carcass wall - so perhaps there was a "revision" that broke everything.
I used some metal parts and screws to get a permanent arm. If you open the door fully, you still need to kick the bin to around 30-40% closed, and then the follower will close the door successfully. I did this fix in 2021.
Update 1: The metal mechanism ate through the plastic mount after 3 years, so I 3D printed a fix.
Update 2: After around 6 months, the mount of the 3d print broke again, so I added a bit of glue and rescrewed it (2025/03/14)
I also mounted the arm to the TOP (it's mounted to the bottom in the Update 1 video. This reduces friction and random plastic.metal shavings that were building up.
Update 3 (18/03/2025)
Glue was trash. swapped to metal bracket
