Annual Willamette Valley Engineers Week Banquet

Each year the Willamette Valley Section of the Society of Women Engineers sponsors an Annual Willamette Valley Engineers Week Banquet. For over 50 years, Engineers Week has helped to promote awareness of the engineering profession and to encourage young people to consider careers in engineering. As part of the banquet activities, we host a guest speaker and honor local student recipients of SWE awards. In support of these objectives, we invite you, your colleagues, and your guests to attend. We hope that you can join us to celebrate the many contributions made by engineers to our community! We ask that you also consider sponsoring student attendees and/or a table of professionals and students.

Mark your calendars.  The Willamette Valley Section of the Society of Women Engineers will host its 25th celebration in recognition of Engineers Week in the Willamette Valley. Details for this networking reception for engineering professionals are below.

Please join us for the 25th annual celebration of Engineers Week in the Willamette Valley.  This networking reception for engineering professionals and students is hosted by the Willamette Valley Section of the Society of Women Engineers and will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 4:30 – 7:00 pm on the Oregon State University campus in the LaSells Stewart Center Gallery. All engineering professionals and students are welcome to attend.  The reception will feature a short program, including keynote remarks by OSU faculty Dr. Lily Ranjbar and a presentation of awards. 

During this celebration, you will have the opportunity to enjoy appetizers and hosted drinks while you network with engineering professionals and engineering students from across the Willamette Valley.
