From 2009, the poet expresses erotic longings with romantic overtones.
-----
I would spin my world into you, making tapestry of your tears
to shield us from the inclement souls of those who would watch
to see what lovers, true lovers, do when they brave the bare skin
of memories yet unborn and unborne. torn from our hearts,
the passions and emotions find freedom in the soft rhythms
of kisses and caresses, tender trespasses that lead us to need
the reassurance that all is still right with one corner of this sphere.
I will give over to you all you would ask of me, task to me,
placing my trust in every thrust of feral bodies given their freedom
to devour the power of our touching, comfort found in movement
and the slow, silent stillness when we need to hear our own hearts,
as we have lost our boundaries in the tangle of bodies, alive
with rebirth and a joy that tickles and tingles and mingles
every pain we've ever know with every joy still to be shown.
