Also a pair of Swifts (Apus apus) has been sighted in the last few years circling and hunting for airborne insects on the wildlife area.

In addition a number of sightings have been reported for a further half dozen or so of species from parakeets to sparrow hawks and woodpeckers. The reports have been generally substantial and I have witnessed a number of them but have not been included because of the difficulty in correctly identifying the species. Other birds like the Common Gull (larus canus) or the ubiquitous pigeons (Columba livia) have not been included because of their unspecific connection to the park.

Mammals

Squirrel Sciurus carolinensis

Fox (Vulpes vulpes) has become a permanent resident.

In the last few years an unknown species of Bats (maybe a Pipistrelles and a larger species ) has been frequenting the area.

Than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
