About the Project

The Challenge:

In many countries of the world, the printed book is too expensive to be widely available. However huge numbers of young people have cell phones that will soon become smart phone technology. If nations of young people are to become literate, then the preferred technology to use is in the palm of the hand, the cell phone. This project is designed to organize and promote the concept of teen authorship throughout the world using simple cell phones along with any other available devices.

Challenge

We recommend that any reader interested in this typeof project, create your own collaborative space where young people can share their writing in a variety of languages.

You might start with a classroom, or the school under the school librarian, or a community through the Public Library, or a state library or a national Department of Eduction. And, as creators of this site, we would be interested in hearing from you.
