What's coming up soon?

Registration is open for the Mountain Ninja Family Obstacle Course Race on Saturday, May 4th at Eudaimonia in Indian Hills! The fun family activity helps earn money for health and wellness activities at mountain area schools and the Mountain Resource Center.

We are recognizing Day Without Hate on Friday, April 26. Students and staff are asked to wear a white top or a Day Without Hate t-shirt.

Our local PTAs are hosting a viewing of the documentary Screenagers: Growing Up in The Digital Age on Monday, April 29th at 7pm in the Evergreen High School auditorium. This movie is appropriate for students ages 10 and up and offers families proven solutions for the impacts of screen technology on youth. The 8th grade Ellis Island Simulation will take place on Friday, May 3rd.

If you are interested in a position or would like to nominate someone to serve in any board position, please email us at wjmspta@gmail.com . You must be a current PTA member to run for office or vote, but you may join at any time. Changes to the slate will be communicated here and on our Facebook page.

The slate will be voted on at Thursday, April 18th at the PTA meeting to be held at 7 pm in the WJMS Library. Even though right now there is only one nomination for each position (and one open position), let's show our support and show up to vote!

We have an ongoing partnership with the Rotary Club of Conifer. The club provides volunteers and mentorship for our school's Interact Club and has awarded our PTA grant funds in several of the past years to support our teacher grant program.
