Asian Pacifiac Economic Corporation (APEC), Certified Business Counsellor
Initial Certification June 2004, Re-certification March 2007 next
I am a certified business counsellor (APEC CBC) through the APEC IBIZ Program (click to view my APEC CBC Certificate). Certified business counsellor designation is valid for three years; I became certified in 2004 and in early 2007, completed the requirements for re-certification. I have and will continue to use the skills gained in this program to promote growth and development within my organization and myself.
The Asian Pacific Economic Corporation IBIZ offers the Certified Business Counsellors Program. APEC IBIZ is a training and certification program for Small Business Counsellors. This certification program provides new opportunities for entrepreneurship educators. The goal of this long-term program is to develop a pool of high quality small business counseling services throughout the APEC region in order to enhance the competitiveness of APEC SMEs in the global market.
