The E-Flyers IS an AMA Chartered Flying Club that welcomes ALL R/C models*
ALL R/C CLUB FLYING ACTIVITIES ARE SUSPENDED UNTIL A NEW FIELD CAN BE FOUND. NOTICE WILL BE POSTED ONCE A NEW SITE HAS BEEN FOUND AND APPROVED.
The E-Flyers Model Airplane Club is an AMA Chartered Radio-Controlled Flying Club and an approved FRIA (FAA Recognized Identification Area). Air and ground operations are from 9:00 AM to Noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays ONLY (unless otherwise noted) at the Wildwood Community Center, 6500 Powell Road, Wildwood, FL. The E-Flyers fly electronically powered radio controlled model aircraft and ground vehicles. All pilots must have a valid AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) license.
Membership in the E-Flyers club is open to all 'Villagers' as well as surrounding area AMA members. Guest flyers must be AMA members and be flight checked and pre-approved by management before flying, with NO exceptions. Spectators are always welcome. Feel free to use the menu links at the left for more information. Please visit our Facebook Page for the most up to date information, events, tips and sale items.
The E-Flyers is ALSO An All-Inclusive R/C Model Club
Our wonderful site behind the Wildwood Community Center also welcomes R/C vehicles, watercraft (on our large retention pond) as well as a designated drone and helicopter area - all under our club direction. If you want to fly, drive or navigate an R/C model, consider joining the E-Flyers club - the FASTEST WAY TO MAKE NEW AND LASTING FRIENDS IN THE AREA!
* Wildwood Community Center does not permit the use of drones on their property. For this reason, e-Flyers prohibits flying drones. All water operations (boats and float planes) are also suspended until further notice due to construction.
