Naga Pooja

Blessed by His Holiness Swami Bramma Sri Sivananda Maharaj

Naga Pooja will bless you with the following.

Do Pooja for 48 days, one the last day put pongal, thenggai, pazham, vetrilai, paakku, milk and do prayers.

Go to Nagar temple.Do abishegam and aradhanai and give the Nagam to the temple iyer(Priest must receive it in hand)pay him for the service.

If marriage is still delayed after this pooja do 9 kalasa Naga priti pooja, & homam. 

1.Sankalpam:

Inthap piraviyilum,atharku munthiya piravigalilum, sabtalogangalilum ulla nagangalukku seitha thosanggalayum atharku inaiyaaga seitha pavanggalaal varum thosanggalaiyum neekki, nalla valkaithunai(kanavan, manaivi) thantu kudumba nalam thara vendugiren.

4. Naga Mantras

"Om Nagarajaya Namaha" ( 108 times)

"Om Nageswariye Namaha" ( 108 times)

5. Chant the following Naga Mantras ( 21 times each mantra)

Note : The day before doing abishegam & aradhanai to Nagar temple the Tangga Pottu must tie in yellow string(manjal kayiru) and worn as Tali for 24 hours.
