I CHING THE DIVINE ORACLE
I Ching the ancient Chinese oracle. It is the cosmology in geometrical forms. It's interpretation required sublime power and spiritual insight. I Ching itself creats a divine mood. It elates your mind. Those involved in interpretation of I Ching require the same principle as propounded by Satyacharya in his SATYA JATAGAM . I ching is a divine science that was practiced by the Chinese at war times. It is the mathematics of supreme divine in forms of Siva and Sakthi. Siva the YANG and Sakthi YING. The whole cosmos is Shivasakthi Tandava(Cosmic Dance).
I Ching talks of 64 life situation, which probably equivalent to AYAKALAIGAL 64 and deals with eight direct which in Hindu Sastra ruled by ASTHADIK BALAR and Vastu principles. In Hindu Gods Kala Bhairava has eight manifestation so as the day.
The human life pattern is divided into eight parts."Ettu Etta Manitha Vailvai Pirichiko" a famous songs has its own philosophical meaning.
How was I introduced to I CHING
Sometime back in 1996 a doctor by name Prof Dr.Surya Moorthi, an anesthetist by profession, came to me to consult astrology. He was very impressed with me and advised me to use I CHING to further gain mastery over metaphysical science. He taught me the basic lessons in I CHING. Later started reading books on I Ching. The first book I bought was 'A MODERN INTERPRETATION OF THE ANCINET CHINESE I CHING BY PETER HAZEL. I started reading further notes from other resources. I had a friend from America Nori J.Muster
who advised me to read her MANUSCRIPT ON I CHING , she also inspired me write articles in astrology which I have been doing since 2004. Iam very indebted to both of them.r
I Ching may be related to PRASNA TANTRA. A question put forward at a particular time. The universal forces existing at time of question will guide the astrologer to foretell the situation existing at that moment of time. The signs of nimittas or omen will guide the astrologer who must be in a state of "DAIVAGNA"

I Ching uses universal forces to interpret life situation through formation of Hexagram. HEXAGRAM has six lines which are composed of two upper and lower TRIGRAM. A Trigram has three lines which are either YANG or YIN combination. This trigram are casted using ICHING COINS. Hexagram is further divided into two group. One is the PRIMARY HEXAGRAM and the other PROGRESSED HEXAGRAM. This enable the interpreter to vision the future. 64 HEXAGRAM are analyzed and interpreted into real situation. Probably a good hindu does meditation on the SIX CHAKRAS will able to under stand the forces of PRAKIRUTHI. Everything in this world function with force and idea ,there are stages of evolution in a situation or in history as pointed out by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel in thesis, anti thesis and synthesis. So I Ching in similar form , is coming out with synthesis through divination and symbols of Hexagram

Case study -1
Sometime ago a Chinese man approached me to know his current business situation. I cast a vedic horoscope for him and apparently he was running a dasa of debilitated Jupiter . Simultaneously Jupiter was transiting the eighth place from his moon sign which is known as ASTAMATTU GURU in GOCHARA. Jupiter is the karaka for Dhanam(wealth). Analyzing his horoscope through Vedic approach I found he has a double effect of poorly performing Jupiter. Out of curiosity I decided to cast I Ching HEXAGRAM to find the real situation. I believe, If the universal forces are one, it will be revealed through cosmic consonants. The hexagram emerged was hexagram 29
This Hexagram begins with a broken YIN and ending with broken YIN. Two Yang line are in between 'Trapped" by two Yin. This Hexagram points out a condition which is quite critical and dangerous. As the trigram of Abysmal-K'an ( Water) repeated again. There is two broken ends-Leaking situation. This situation depict fallen into severe depth and financial crisis and it is difficult to arise if the person continues with the same profession.
I advised him not to invest money any where as time is not permitting and be careful as the hexagram depict danger. He was also involved in share market.
It was a bad Natal Jupiter and current transit of Jupiter that caused all the problem.
Later, after a year or two i was told that he sold his property and moved to a different place and his business dealing came with partner conflict and mistrust.
Conclusion: I Ching is a useful divine science as it is a good prasna or horary astrology tool. The symbol may have more revelation to situation.

Case study -2
A lady approached me to find out whether her current disease will be cured. She was looking quite worried and I decided to cast an I CHING hexagram to find the real situation. I can remember her Vedic Chart. But I had cast the HEXAGRAM and noted in my consultation book. As novice in I Ching I had the following sequence of number 686798, which had two retrogression line 9 Changing Yang and 6 Changing Yin. The hexagram was number 45. In classical I Ching is called T'SUI- Gathering together. It is a situation below is Earth and the above Trigram is Lake.
I convince her that the disease will be cured. The hexagram reveals success. She can be joyful again. The hexagram mention about the place of worship. A visit to place worship will be about great improvement. In vedic religion it may suggest a offering or some form penance or PARIHARA will remove obstacle and hasten recovery. Vedic deity propitiated will cure the disease. There is a tendency for the disease to get worse as the lack may over flow or dry up. As the first line is changing young it may require sincere effort which means "PRAY FROM YOUR HEART" the Moving yin in the 3rd place from bottom" Reliance on the Sage will hela all wounds". The old Yang 9 in the 5th place will ensure "Remorse removed". Chanting of Mantras,offering to sages/Diety will ensure quick recovery. "Gathering " may indicate MASS CHANTING.

Case study -3
A Chinese man came to house and keen to know his current situation. He has under gone much difficulties and business failure,however recovering from much debts. Currently not doing any big time business. I was focusing on his astrological chart running dasa of the Mercury in the 6th .He came across miseries and loss of wealth. Casting revealed the following HEXAGRAM 40 with 676786 lines. He has three moving old Yin lines in the hexagram especially in 1,3,6 place.
The above Trigram is CHEN- Thunder while the below Trigram is K'AN the water. Key word Deliverance and Release ' The superior man pardons mistake and forgives mistakes". The old YIN in the first place promises the hindrance is past and deliverance has come. It also depict that hardship is disappearing and he is recovering. The bad luck is transforming into good luck. I advice him eventhough there is sign of good progress it should be kept hidden not to dispose to public. There may be a legal suit against him."A duke shoot a hawk and catches it" .You will be succesfuuly overcome the legal pursuit and be released soon.

Case study-4
A young man love with a girl wants to know whether their match will be suitable. He was undecided in continuing their relationship. He feels he should continue the relation even though there were mishaps in the process. I ching Hexagram casted releaved the following number 877787. This happens to be 50 hexagram and there were no changing lines of Yang or Yin. This is hexagram is considered fixed or rather locked hexagram. The client has no chance expect to pursue the current relation.There is no progressed hexagram.
This Hexagram is called TING. The Caldron. The Hexagram has two
trigram. the below sun-Wind and the above is Li or Fire.
Traditionally is hexagram depicts a cooking utensil for preparing food
for offering. This utensil is considered a stable device and stability
assured. It depict great fortune. Serving food from the TING depict
a ceremony. The visitors being served. It also associates with the ancestors. This bring good luck.
Thus the superior man consolidates his fate
By making his position correct.
The client was advised to pursue the relationship. I advised him to make offering to their ancestor to get
their blessing. He should make his standing clear.
A further analysis into NUCLEAR HEXAGRAM-43
Hexagram 43, which has 5 yang lines and one female at the top. The client should make himself clear and
it may require final decision or confession .There is danger involved and breakthrough is needed.
I wish something will be revealed in the month April-May. The vedic compatibility was only neutral.
This was a challenging case.The client will not change his decision and be firm on it. As the judgment says
'At the court of the king it must be announced truthfully '.

Case study-5
A business man approached me for consultation. His projects are not moving and there are obstacle and he tried his best but with not further improvement. He wants to know the outcome of this situation.
Casting I Ching with following 9(X),8876(x)6(x)- This hexagram has 3 moving lines- The first line -9 in the begining is a moving Yang Line. 5 line being 6 mving Yin and Last on the top 6 Yin another moving line. The hexagram is two trigram with same principles and there movingline in lower trigram THUNDER and upper trigram is also THUNDER but with two mving yin Lines. It is Thunder over Thunder. Hexagram 51.
Shock brings success. Shock comes—oh,oh! Laughing words—ha,ha! The shock terrifies for a hundred miles, and he does not let fall the sacrificial spoon and chalice.
The hexagram 51, This hexagram a symbol of Thunder which is very active. The two moving YIn lines bottom of the Yang line indicate strong movement to burst or exposes everything. When power of both Yin matured it break in form of Thunder- Strong, It depict eldest Son and Direct of the east. It also depict suppression for a period of long time.In medical it may chronic lesion become active again and becoming to explode. It is time to react use a different approach and once the Thunder explode it will give good solution. It may open new channel for discussion the out come will be success. According to the judgment ZHEN means success. The Thunder create shock and far reaching the people but there will laughter at the end of the journey. It may sudden fortune and fame. 9 in the first place indicated good fortune. 6 in the 5th place Thunder going back and forth indicate risk but no losses are incurred. 6th at the top, It threatening but you will gain it harm your neighbor (which ever causing the obstacle, it cases of possession the enemy has to loose to you). Since the hexagram has 3 moving lines it will transform in to a new progressed Hexagram which in this case is Hexagram 12.
This hexagram in progressed from the mpving line of the above hexagram 51 transformed into 12. The judgment of the hexagram 12 is a sign of stagnation and obstacles there are opposition to suppress the progress. There is hindrance the wise remain calm and reorganize himself. remain steady and look for write time. It is stated that creative power are in opposite direction. There may be some new around August and September. The person should hold back and avoid disaster. There is something critical. If have already undegone the turmoil you will gain at last.
