The Chron Team In Venice

The Chron team has all arrived in Venice! We have settled into our apartments (both very close to the extremely beautiful San Marco), and are gearing up to begin our work once more. We have learned a few things so far:

• • The tourist problem is worse than we thought. Enormous groups, all moving slower than molasses, crowd the streets more than we could have imagined.

  • Seafood is more expensive than it should be.

  • Getting lost is easy, but leads to adventures and exploration of a truly awe-inspiring city. Usually, it is worth the time lost.

We are excited to resume our project, and hope to learn more and more about the wonderful city we are in over the next few months.
