Spain won the football World Cup for the second time by beating Argentina 1-0 after extra time in New Jersey. Spain's captain, Rodri, lifted the trophy and was named the player of the tournament,  his team won with only one goal during the entire competition. It was an emotional match for Argentina's 39-year-old star Lionel Messi, who was seen in tears after receiving his second-place medal. Thousands of happy fans celebrated late into the night in Madrid and other Spanish cities.

Solar Eclipse 

Millions of people in Spain and Iceland witnessed a rare total solar eclipse, which happens when the moon moves between the sun and the earth and blocks the sun's light. This spectacular event lasted only a few minutes. for Spain, it was the country's first total solar eclipse in more than a century. Greenland and a small part of Portugal were also in the path of the total eclipse.

Singer Ariana Grande has decided to take a break from the public eye after finishing her successful "Eternal Sunshine" tour in London.  She needs rest after facing constant attention and criticism from the public. Although she recently released a new album called / entitled (group 2 )Petal, she has cancelled her plans to perform in a theater show next summer.

250th birthday of the USA

The United States celebrated its 250th birthday with major events across the country,

It started with a speech delivered by President Trump at Mount Rushmore, South Dakota. Then he went back to Washington with Air Force One,

In New York, the famous Times Square ball dropped at midnight after a countdown and international ships gathered for a large parade in NY . However, because of extreme heat (110°F in Washington D.C = 43°C ) , they had to cancel the fair.

They organised the largest fireworks in the world with tight security.
