Summer Review
Spain won the football World Cup for the second time by beating Argentina 1-0 after extra time in New Jersey. Spain's captain lifted the trophy, his team won with only one goal during the entire competition. It was an emotional match for Argentina's 39-year-old star Lionel Messi, who was in tears after receiving his second-place medal. Thousands of happy fans celebrated all night long in Madrid and other Spanish cities.
The United States is celebrating its 250th birthday with major events across the country, starting with a speech by President Trump at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota
Then he went back to Washington with Air Force One .
In New York, the famous Times Square ball dropped at midnight after a countdown and international ships gathered for a large parade in NY . However, because of extreme heat (110°F in Washington D.C = 43°C ) , they had to cancel the fair.
They organised the largest fireworks in the world with tight security.

The Kinder egg is a harmless chocolate treat that has been banned in the U.S. because the toy inside is considered as dangerous. Children can swallow it and choke.
However, owning rifle is legal in many states whereas it is a dangerous weapon.
It seems illogical and the ad denounces the contradictions in safety regulations. They want stricter laws about guns in the USA.

An organization created a fake gun store in NY city. They sell second-hand guns that were used in the past to kill people.
They installed cameras to record the clients / customers’s reaction.
The potential customers are normal looking people : a young couple, women ... 60% of Americans think owning a gun will make them safer.
Most people want to own a gun for protection, for safety / to protect their family (not for target practice)
They want to make people aware of the dangers of owning a gun at home.
1st gun / 1st clients : A 5 year-old boy found the gun in his parents' bedroom and shot his 9 month-old baby brother
2nd gun : A two year-old boy took his mother 's gun from her handbag in a supermarket and killed her.
In Sandy Hook, the shooter used a gun from his mum's collection to kill 26 people in a school.
In San Diego, the shooter killed 21 people in a MC Donald and injured / wounded 19 people.
The weapons are handy / easy to use.
The clients are shocked / horrified. They don't want to buy guns anymore although it Is their right. Their opinion has changed.
