How do I set-up my USC wifi account and password?

1. Go to my.sc.edu. DO NOT sign-in.
2. Scroll down and click on ‘View my IDs and manage my passwords’
3. Sign-in with your VIP ID and Password.
4. If you have not set your VIP ID and Password, go to the page 'Set Up Your VIP ID Password' and follow the instructions.
5. Once you’ve logged in, you will see your VIP ID, Network ID, and USC ID.
6. Your Network ID is your USC Wifi account. It is also your USC email account name.
7. For example, if your Network ID is WANG321, your USC email will be WANG321@email.sc.edu.
8. Click the button 'Manage Password' next to your Network ID, and set a password for your USC wifi.
9. Once you have set your password, wait 20 minutes and then try to connect to the 'USCguest' Wifi account using your Network ID and the Wifi password you just set.
10. You will need to re-set your Network ID Password every 6 months. Check Re-set Your Network ID Password for instructions on how you can re-set your password.
