Go to https://my.sc.edu/vipid/ and click on ‘I am a new user who has never used my VIP ID and need to establish my password’.
Fill in the information, set your password, choose your security questions. Make sure you remember the answers to your security questions.
Proceed to the page ‘Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)’ if you have not set up the DUO Mobile App on your phone.

Go to https://my.sc.edu/vipid/ and click ‘I can't remember my VIP ID password’.
Fill in the information, answer your security questions, and reset your password.
If you forgot the answers to the security questions, you need to call University Technology Services (803-777-1800, Monday-Fri 8:00am-6:00pm), tell them you forgot the answers to your security questions, and ask them to reset your account.
Go to the page ‘Set Up Your VIP ID Password’ and set your VIP ID password again.
