They can mean days of the week: M= Monday, T=Tuesday, W= Wednesday, R=Thursday, F=Friday, S=Saturday, U=Sunday
They can also mean the location of your class. Visit the campus map, type in the abbreviation (CLHIPP, GAMBRL, etc) and you can find it on the map.
Consult with your SSA or a member of the Academic Team if you would like to drop a class. Some classes are required to move on to the next term in your program. Do not drop any classes until you have met with your SSA or a member of the Academic Team. Dropping a class without an approved plan could mean you are not in compliance with immigration!
See this website to determine when the drop/add date is for your class.
Check with your SSA or the Academic Team. If you are a non-degree student (in EAP or AAP) and this is your first semester, no class changes can happen until course registration is complete for all students who have arrived on campus.
WF and F are both failing grades. If you withdraw from a course after the WF date, you will receive a WF in the course, and you will get a 0.0 GPA for that class.
If you withdraw from a class before the WF date, it will not impact your GPA, but it will reduce your credit hours for the semester. You will get a W on your transcript.
You may need to enroll in another course to make sure you can progress on time. You must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours to maintain immigration compliance.
Before you can register for next semester's classes, you will need to be advised.
You will be advised by the Academic Team. If you are an ID student, you will be advised by your Academic Advisor in your department.
You will attend a mandatory advising appointment to learn which classes you can choose and when you can register for those classes.
You must be advised by your new Academic Advisor in your major's college.
You will declare your major during your UNIV 151 class.
Your new Academic Advisor will email you to schedule your mandatory advising appointment. You must attend this appointment to learn which classes you can take next year.
You cannot register for your sophomore classes until you are a degree-seeking student. You will receive an email telling you when you are officially a degree-seeking student.
You cannot take an online class or an hybrid class during your Accelerator program. A hybrid class is 50% online and 50% in class with your professor. If you have any questions about which classes may be online or hybrid, please ask the Academic Team.
