(I’ve got a feeling - beautiful hands, as you hold with your heat today my head full of dreams, so will you once hold the urn with my ashes. I dream - beautiful hands, when warm lips will blow my ashes in the wind, that you will hold in your palms as in a goblet, you’ll be like flowers from which the breeze spreads pollen. And I cry - you’ll be so young then, beautiful hands.)
DÉLICES (13 Aug 2015)
Heat is a bounty hunter. From the profuse depths of the light-ingesting matter, it brings up nacreous pearls, old-fashioned and glittering currencies, halogen lamps in search for lucky Aladdins. All’s blaze, Fata Morgana waving under disco mirror balls, filmy sweat, shattered reflection, painful lightning. The air’s full of betrayal and excessive pride, of almost potlatch generosity and wealth. Stevenson’s treasure island spawns atolls everywhere under the summer reign but I, midst tiresome and vapid orfevrerie, wait for your palms to shut my eyes into a chilling, unadorned nightfall.
