Summary
Summary
A arrow flies through the Stargate and hits Jack in the shoulder. It was sent from PXY 887, a planet where the SG-11 team are missing. The planet has a new element Trinium, which is a hundred times lighter and stronger than steel.
Sam takes command of SG-1 and returns to the planet, they are met by Tonané a descendant of Native Indian Americans. He tells SG-1 that SG-11 have been taken by the Spirits the protectors of his people, who appear in animal form.
The NID's interest in the mining, without considering the needs of the Indians, makes the spirits reveal their true appearance in order to protect the planet.
